
Join us on Saturday, November 26th at 10AM for the 3rd annual School Spirit 2011 race, at the Elks Lodge Post 959 at 99 Park St in Hudson, Massachusetts. The course, which runs five kilometers through the streets of the beautiful Brigham Hills Estates neighborhood, begins and ends at the Elks Lodge -- plus, as an added bonus, the finish line is marked with music, snacks, and drinks courtesy of our sponsors. And, to make sure you head home knowing you've done a good deed, 100% of proceeds from the race's $15 registration fee go to support the Elks Scholarship fund to benefit the Class of 2012. Last year’s overall race winner was Sonny Gamble who set a new course record at 16:02, with Kyle Schaeffer close behind. The top woman runner was Christy Carrera, who set a new woman’s course record at 18:57.
Race participants who register by November 4th are guaranteed to be provided with a great looking shirt commemorating this race. Medals will be awarded to the first three places for runners and for first place in the walker category in the following age groups & categories:
·Students: 13 and under, 8th grade, 9th grade, 10th grade, 11th grade, 12 grade, and
·Adults: 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50+.
