Join us for the second running of the Running With the Wolves 10K and a howling good time!  The Wolves 10K starts at Kelleher Field in Marlborough, follows an out-and-back course on the scenic and shaded Assabet River Rail Trail - perfect for a summer evening - then winds up in an exciting stadium finish inside Kelleher Field with your friends and supporters cheering you on from the grandstand.

Last year's inaugural event drew one hundred runners of all abilities.  Julien Dimaria of Lexington MA, and Carol Allain of Leominster MA took the men's and women's crowns and established the course records of 34:00 and 46:44 respectively.  Adam Charbonneau (45:03) and Shereen Sairafi (52:12) took the honors of first male and female hometown Marlborough finishers.

Last year's event featured copious quantities of goodies including our now-famous home-made Howling Wolves Moon-Pies, plenty of awards, and a rockin' party.  We promise that this year's race will be a howl of a good time!

Howling Post-Race Party featuring live music by Toddamy!!

Corporate & Sponsor Challenges

Corporate Challenge:  Challenge your co-workers and their families to get in shape!  The company that fields the most participating runners will receive special recognition.

Sponsor Challenge:  A division of the Corporate Challenge, the Sponsor Challenge challenges employees and families of our sponsors to get fit!  We'll provide special recognition to the sponsoring company that fields the most participating runners.

For both challenges, we'll take a photo of your group 30 minutes before the race and post it for you to download free and cherish forever.

To participate, write your company or sponsoring organization name in the club/affiliation/team space on the entry form.

Team Competition

Create a team and compete against other companies, clubs, or teams, even within your own company (can you say rival factions?).  Write your team name in the club/affiliation/team space on the entry form.  Any number of runners can be on a team.  We'll add up the three fastest finishing times for each team.  Fastest total time wins.

There are two divisions:  Men's/Mixed, and Women's.  Women's teams are, as you might guess, all women.  Any other combination is a Men's/Mixed team.  Sorry, no age group teams.  Maybe next year.

To participate in a Corporate or Sponsor Challenge and the Team Competition, write in both.  Be sure to include your email address so we can quiz you when we can't read your handwriting.

If you sign up in a Challenge group but don't specify a team, we'll assume your challenge group is also a team.  Yes, you could win both categories - and an individual award as well!

We'll plan to take a photo of your team 30 minutes before the race and post it for you to download free, to use to taunt your rivals.  Be sure to have your team organized and ready when we call you.
